UK 2005 Nelson & Battle of Trafalgar Twin £5 Coin Cover, RMC46

A philatelic numismatic cover (PNC) issued by the Royal Mint and Royal Mail to commemorate the bicentenary of the Battle of Trafalgar. The cover features a vertical strip of three commemorative stamps with denominations of 1st Class, 42p, and 68p, cancelled by a ship’s wheel circular date stamp (CDS) from Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, dated 18 October 2005. The cover contains two inset Brilliant Uncirculated five-pound (£5) coins: one commemorating the Battle of Trafalgar and one featuring Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson. The item is individually numbered 06673 in a blue-bordered panel. Identification text for the Royal Mint is printed along the left edge of the envelope.
