A Collection of Vintage Cinema Memorabilia including Steppenwolf (1974) Poster and Press Materials

This collection comprises an assortment of vintage cinema ephemera and promotional materials spanning the 1960s to the 1980s. The primary item is an original folded movie poster for the 1974 film Hermann Hesses Steppenwolf, featuring a surrealist psychedelic illustration of a dragon and a female figure. The poster includes the tagline For Madmen Only and credits director Fred Haines, stars Max von Sydow and Dominique Sanda, and composer George Gruntz. The artwork is attributed to Lee Conklin. Also included is a press folder for the 1987 Miramax Films release of Pelle the Conqueror, directed by Bille August, containing contact information for representatives Debra Stein and Christina Ronnellie.
