A vintage silver-tone floral brooch with central oval-cut purple stone

A vintage silver-coloured metal brooch featuring a large central oval-faceted purple stone, possibly amethyst or paste glass. The stone is held within an eight-prong setting and is flanked on either side by decorative foliate motifs. These motifs depict roses in bloom alongside textured leaves. The reverse of the brooch reveals an oval frame supporting the central setting and a pin mechanism. No hallmarks, purity stamps, or maker’s marks are visible on the metalwork. The presence of green oxidation suggests the piece is constructed from a base metal alloy with copper content.
