A Wedgwood Pale Blue Jasperware Brooch-Pendant, 1966

A mid-20th-century oval brooch-pendant featuring a pale blue jasperware plaque by Wedgwood. The ceramic plaque is decorated with a white bas-relief depicting a classical female figure holding a floral garland. The plaque is secured in a gold-toned metal mount, which is fitted with a hinged pin and safety catch for use as a brooch, and a small bale at the top for use as a pendant. The reverse of the jasperware plaque features the impressed maker’s marks WEDGWOOD over MADE IN ENGLAND. Below these lines is the date 1966, and to the right side are the letters EC.
