A Collection of UK Pre-Decimal and Commemorative Coins

A collection of British coinage comprising two commemorative cupro-nickel crowns and an assortment of pre-decimal bronze coins. The commemorative pieces include a 1953 Coronation crown (KM# 894) and a 1977 Silver Jubilee crown (KM# 920), both featuring equestrian portraits of Queen Elizabeth II. The bronze currency includes numerous pennies and halfpennies spanning the reigns of Queen Victoria through to Queen Elizabeth II. Obverse effigies for Victoria include Young Head, Jubilee Head, and Veiled Head portraits. Other monarchs represented include King Edward VII, King George V, and King George VI. Reverse designs visible include the seated Britannia for the one penny denomination and the sailing ship for the halfpenny.
