Jersey 2013 Coronation Jubilee 24 Carat Gold-Plated Round Fifty Pence Coin

A 2013 commemorative fifty pence coin issued by the Bailiwick of Jersey to mark the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is struck in steel with 24 carat gold-plating and features a crown patterned edge. The obverse displays the fourth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, inscribed ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY 2013. The reverse features a colourised reproduction of a 1953 formal portrait of the Queen, with the legends 1953 CORONATION 2013 and FIFTY PENCE. This specimen is presented in a protective plastic capsule and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity numbered A-24499. The edition limit for this commemorative issue is 60,000 pieces.
