UK, Lions International Past Chairman Badge, Gold-Tone Metal and Enamel

A Lions International association badge manufactured by W.O. Lewis (Badges) Ltd, Birmingham. The item consists of a gold-tone metal suspension bar inscribed PAST CHAIRMAN in blue enamel, a tri-stripe silk ribbon in yellow and purple, and a circular medallion. The medallion obverse features the Lions International emblem in red, white, and blue enamel within a blue border decorated with a gear pattern. The reverse of the medallion bears the stamped manufacturer marks W. O. LEWIS (BADGES) LTD BIRMINGHAM. The piece is housed in its original black leatherette presentation case, which features a purple velvet lining and a white satin lid interior printed with the maker name and location.
