An Assortment of Vintage and Mid-Century Costume Jewellery including Brooches, Earrings, and a Pendant

The collection includes a large silver-tone foliate spray brooch densely set with clear and Aurora Borealis (AB) rhinestones, and a long silver-tone bar brooch with a central floral and leaf motif set with clear rhinestones or marcasite.

The assortment of earrings includes a pair of teardrop-shaped faux pearl earrings with gold-tone borders, a pair of round white faux pearl studs, and a pair of silver-tone drop earrings featuring cameo-style female profile portraits on an orange ground. Also present is a pair of silver-tone drop earrings set with purple cabochons, possibly amethyst or purple glass, and a pair of long silver-tone chain-link drop earrings with textured cylindrical terminal weights.

A rectangular silver-tone openwork pendant with a central pale purple stone shows Art Deco stylistic influences. The collection further comprises miscellaneous stud earrings set with colourful rhinestones, tiger’s eye effect beads, and plain metal designs, some of which are contained within a small black plastic compartmentalised storage case. Materials include gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, rhinestones, glass, faux pearls, and plastic. Indistinct marks are visible on the reverse of the rectangular pendant and the pin mechanism of the bar brooch but are not clearly legible.
