A Collection of Silver-Plated Tableware and Cased Fruit Knives

A collection of silver-plated hollowware and a cased cutlery set. The group includes a pair of oval serving trays with plain raised rims, one tray featuring a faint circular engraved crest to the centre. The decorative oval centrepiece bowl has a pierced gallery rim with die-stamped foliate and scroll motifs, raised on four scrolled feet in the form of stylised bird claws. Also included is a small circular tripod bowl, likely a salt cellar, featuring a gadrooned rim and standing on three short decorative feet. The set of fruit knives features mother-of-pearl handles and white metal ferrules, presented in a fitted case with a red velvet base and cream silk lid lining. Maker’s marks are present on the blades but are not clearly legible.
