A Collection of Vintage Cinema, Sport, and Royalty Annuals and Commemorative Volumes

A collection of vintage hardcover annuals and books dating from the mid-20th century, primarily focusing on themes of cinema, sport, and the British monarchy. The group includes The Film Show Annual and The New Film Show Annual, which are copiously illustrated with black-and-white and colour plates featuring prominent film stars of the era such as Joan Collins, Gloria De Haven, and Rex Harrison. Also included is Peter Dimmock’s Sportsview, containing photographic features and articles on the 1955 England Test cricket team and notable motor racing figures including Stirling Moss and Mike Hawthorn. Two additional volumes titled FILM are present, bound in red and blue publisher’s cloth with gilt lettering to the upper boards.
