A Set of four Royal Doulton Bunnykins Fine Bone China Bowls

This set of four Royal Doulton Bunnykins bowls is manufactured from English fine bone china. The collection comprises two porringer-style baby bowls with weighted, stepped bases and two bowls with rounded, sloping sides. Each piece features a central transfer-printed illustration by Sister Mary Barbara Bailey depicting anthropomorphic rabbits in various narrative scenes, including an outdoor camping scene with a tent, a play scene with rabbits in a wooden cart, a nursery interior with a mother rabbit and children watching a toy television, and a group harvesting fruit from an apple tree. Every bowl is finished with a continuous border of running rabbits around the inner rim. The base of each bowl bears the Royal Doulton Bunnykins backstamp featuring a crown over a circular emblem with two rabbits, accompanied by text including BUNNYKINS, ENGLISH FINE BONE CHINA, and REGD.
