A Wade P.M. Pottery Limited Edition Vaux Breweries Commemorative Mug with Original Box

A commemorative ceramic brewery mug produced by Wade Ceramics, England. The vessel features a flared foot and a C-scroll handle. The exterior is decorated with multi-coloured transfer prints within oval vignettes, illustrating the historical delivery methods of Vaux Breweries and its associated brands. The scenes depict a horse-drawn dray dated 1900 for Lorimer & Clark, Edinburgh; a vintage delivery truck dated 1938 for Vaux, Sunderland; and a modern delivery truck alongside a horse-drawn carriage dated 1984. The vignettes are separated by stylised sheaves of barley tied with ribbons and clusters of hops. The names Wards Sheffield, Darley’s Doncaster, and Liefmans are printed around the lower portion of the body. The rim and base are finished with thin purple-maroon bands. The base bears a circular red stamp for Wade P.M. England and is marked Limited Edition.
