An Assortment of Art Deco Style Ice Blue Pressed Glass Bowls and Dishes

An assortment of decorative blue pressed glassware, characteristic of the mid-20th century Art Deco period. The items are finished in a pale ice blue colour and display a variety of molded patterns typical of the era. The collection includes an oval fruit bowl with vertical ribbing and a scalloped rim; a circular bowl with repeating bullseye and scroll motifs; and a large circular bowl featuring a frosted scalloped rim and geometric zig-zag pattern to the interior. Also included are a small circular dish with a starburst base, a simple panelled bowl, and a heavy-walled bowl with deep-molded star and floral-geometric designs. These pieces are similar in style to the production of British and European glassworks such as Bagley, Davidson, or Niemen.
