Two Seltmann Weiden Nora Pattern Porcelain Fruit Bowls

Two German porcelain fruit bowls manufactured by the Seltmann Weiden factory in Bavaria. The lot comprises one larger serving bowl and one smaller individual bowl. Each piece is constructed from white glazed porcelain and features a circular form with a deeply scalloped edge and a gilded rim. The interior of the larger bowl is decorated with a central transfer-printed motif depicting a peach, a plum, and cherries with green foliage. The smaller bowl features a similar central motif depicting a pear, gooseberries, and cherries. The base of each bowl bears a green printed backstamp consisting of a crown symbol above the words Nora and Qualität, the name Seltmann Weiden in script, Bavaria, and Made in Germany.
