An assortment of maritime instructional and reference publications, primarily focused on yachting and navigation curricula. The group features several Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training manuals, including Tim Bartlett, The RYA Book of Navigation; Denise Bréhaut, GMDSS: A User’s Handbook; and RYA International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (Code G2/90). Also included is an RYA training publication titled day skipper: theory, safety, seamanship and a partially visible title by Pat Langley-Price. The collection also contains a spiral-bound Skipper’s Cockpit Guide: Instant Facts & Practical Hints for the Yachtsman, featuring illustrated signal flags on the cover, and a larger hardcover volume titled Fishing: including three comprehensive guides to master all of the techniques of coarse, sea and fly fishing. The publications are illustrated throughout with technical diagrams, maps, and maritime photographs. The bindings include softcovers, pictorial boards, and spiral wire.
