A pair of Great Britain philatelic items from the Philatelic Legends series, presented in a black collector case. The first item is a 2015 Penny Black Reissue with a 1st Class denomination, featuring a perforated design. It is presented on a First Day of Issue card numbered 1876 of 5000 and features a red Maltese Cross cancellation from St Peter’s House, Edinburgh, dated 6 May 2015. The second item is an 1841-1858 1d Penny Red (Stanley Gibbons #7), imperforate, with stars in the upper corners and the check letters D and K in the lower corners. The stamp is cancelled with a black barred obliterator. Both items are housed in individual plastic capsules featuring descriptive labels on the face and historical narratives on the reverse.
