Each piece is decorated with varied fruit motifs, including pears, strawberries, plums, and apples or peaches, positioned against a background of textured green and ochre-glazed leaves. The set is finished with vibrant polychrome lead glazes characteristic of late 19th to early 20th-century French production. The bases bear authentic factory marks including a blue printed cursive mark reading Sarreguemines positioned above France in block letters, an impressed mark for Sarreguemines with the numerals 3271, and an impressed banner-shaped mark containing the words Sarreguemines over France.
