The heart-shaped locket is decorated with a raised relief of the Virgin Mary in the Miraculous Medal iconographic style, set against a textured sunburst background with stars. The decorative yellow metal seal fob features scrolled openwork and is set with a rectangular dark green stone, appearing to be bloodstone with red inclusions. The base of the seal stone is engraved with an intaglio reading VERITAS with a small red heart-shaped motif above the central letters. No purity hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on any of the pieces.
