A Victorian oil lamp base and burner assembly. The lamp is constructed with a cast spelter reservoir and flared base, both decorated in deep-relief foliate moulding including acanthus leaves, scrollwork, and circular bosses. The lamp is topped with a brass burner assembly that includes a pierced and crenellated chimney gallery. The original non-electrified oil configuration remains intact. No maker’s marks, signatures, or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces.
