The second item is a smaller circular brooch or pendant containing an enamelled British gold coin featuring King George IV. The obverse of the mount displays the British Royal Crest – a crowned lion statant guardant atop a crown – set against a light blue enamelled ground. A white enamelled border is inscribed BRITANNIARUM REX FIDEI DEFENSOR. The reverse of the mount reveals the original obverse of the gold coin, showing the profile head of King George IV and the legend GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA. The coin is set within a silver-toned frame with spherical boss decoration and a suspension loop at the top. The central coin appears to be gold, though no hallmarks are visible on the mounts; testing is recommended to confirm metal purity.
