A trio of ceramic posy holders or decorative planters modelled in the form of boots. The group consists of one large boot and two smaller boots of differing shapes, all crafted from white glazed ceramic with moulded details representing lacing and seams. Each piece is decorated with transfer-printed botanical motifs and a gilt line to the rim. The large boot features sprays of red and deep pink roses on the side and toe. The first smaller boot displays a mixed floral spray including yellow, pink, and red roses. The second smaller boot is decorated with a trailing green ivy pattern. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the items.
