An English cream-coloured earthenware vase of round form. The body is decorated with a series of horizontal lathe-turned concentric ribs across the exterior under a uniform matt cream glaze. A circular blue mark is printed on the base reading OF ETRURIA WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND & BARLASTON surrounding the central initials KM, for the designer Keith Murray. A small incised character resembling an A is also present to the left of the printed mark (photo 2). The interior is finished in a matching cream glaze.
