The square top features a panel depicting a white crane with a red crest perched upon a pine branch, set against a large circular yellow disc. The lower square shelf is decorated with a corresponding pine tree motif. The side rails are embellished with painted flowering prunus branches in shades of pink, white, and red. The piece is supported by four cabriole legs which are further decorated with gilt floral scrollwork and geometric patterns.
