An English glazed earthenware tri-lobed bowl featuring a wavy rim and a tapered base. The exterior is decorated with a hand-painted floral motif, including Peony Rose blossoms in shades of blue, purple, and yellow, accompanied by green foliage. This design is set against a pink lustre ground with a thumbprint or scaled texture. The interior is finished in a pale celadon green glaze, and the rim is detailed with a dark contrasting band. The base features a printed black mark consisting of a central castle crest with the name MALING above and the word ENGLAND below. Beside the mark are the hand-painted numbers 7 and 1.
