This lot comprises two pieces of English decorative earthenware featuring an iridescent mother-of-pearl lustre glaze and gilded accents. The first item is a large pitcher or jug with a bulbous body, a triple-banded neck, a wide flared spout, and a C-scroll handle. The handle and rim are finished in a gold-toned gilding. The underside of the base features an underglaze black printed mark reading Radford England Handpainted. The base also features an incised model number 321. The second item is a bud vase with a heart-shaped rim, a tapering body, and a circular pedestal foot. It is finished in a matching iridescent lustre glaze with a gilt rim. The underside of the foot bears an underglaze black printed mark reading Radford England Handpainted, accompanied by a black letter F and a shallow incised mark reading 920. A small rectangular adhesive label reading RADFORD is also present on the body of the vase.
