A 9 carat yellow gold charm bracelet of curb link construction, featuring a collection of eleven gold charms. The bracelet is secured by a heart-shaped padlock clasp with an attached safety chain. The charms include a heart and anchor, a flat iron, a flintlock pistol, a hurricane lamp, a tortoise, a tankard, a cross with trefoil terminals, a tea kettle, a coffee pot, and a boot.

The heart-shaped padlock clasp (photo 4) is struck to the reverse with the fineness mark 9.375 and a maker’s mark consisting of the letters CD within a heart-shaped outline for Charles Daniel & Co Ltd. The tankard charm (photo 5) bears an identical 9.375 fineness mark and the heart-shaped CD maker’s mark to the base. The tea kettle charm (photo 6) is struck to the side with the letters FM followed by the 9.375 fineness mark. The cross charm (photo 7) is struck to the reverse with the fineness mark 9.375, a partially legible date letter and city mark, and a maker’s mark reading AJS within a circular outline for Arthur John Smith. The hurricane lamp charm (photo 2) also displays visible hallmarks to the base.
