A collection of English porcelain tea and coffee ware featuring a distinctive spiral gadrooned or fluted body. The service is decorated with an Imari-inspired rust-red transfer-printed floral design including large roses and foliate scrolls, further enhanced with hand-applied gilt highlights to the rims, handles, and pattern motifs. The pieces feature scalloped edges with gilded borders.

The service comprises a large slop bowl, a cream jug with a high-arched handle, a large circular serving plate, tea cups of wide shallow form, saucers, side plates, and larger dessert plates.

The base of several pieces bears a brown-sepia printed mark consisting of the characters RD Nº 142276 above the word ENGLAND in capital letters. There are also hand-painted marks in red enamel including the four-digit number 1659 and a stylized cross-hatch or 7 symbol.
