A collection of UK proof coins issued by the Royal Mint, presented in their original commemorative packaging. The set is housed in a black folding display case within a matching black slipcase. The slipcase features a printed white emblem and the text The Royal Mint in the upper left corner. Accompanying the coins is a booklet with a silver-toned cover that reads The Royal Mint and The Coins of 2017. A white card is also included which provides a printed diagram of the coin layout.

The set includes several denominations with various finishes. There are two bimetallic £2 coins featuring a gold-toned outer ring and a silver-toned centre; one depicts a biplane and the other a stylized heraldic crest. Also present is a bimetallic £1 coin, a heptagonal 50p coin, and two smaller circular denominations. A square-shaped commemorative medallion or token is positioned on the left side of the display. The coins are struck to proof quality and remain held in a black foam or felt-lined insert.
