A 9 carat white gold diamond-set cluster ring. The central round brilliant-cut diamond is held in a four-prong setting, surrounded by a grain-set square-shaped halo of smaller round-cut diamonds. The shoulders are accented with a single row of round-cut diamonds in a grain setting. The shank is constructed from white gold, which shows the warmer hue of the underlying yellow gold where the rhodium plating has worn. The interior of the shank bears several marks (photo 3) which are not clearly legible. The ring is accompanied by a handwritten card tag reading 9ct White Gold + Diamond 2.2gm.
