A circular brass charger featuring a central six-pointed Star of David (Magen David) enclosing a floral motif. The central medallion is surrounded by a band of intricate hand-chased and engraved foliate and floral patterns. The secondary concentric band depicts a continuous figurative narrative scene, including figures amongst architecture, palm trees, and camels. The outer rim is decorated with a repeating floral scroll border. The reverse is plain, showing the hammered indentations from the chasing process. No maker’s marks or artist signatures are visible on either side of the plate.
