2017 UK HM Queen Elizabeth II Sapphire Jubilee £5 Coin and Stamp Cover

Royal Mail Philatelic Numismatic Cover (PNC) issued in 2017 to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of the Accession of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The set houses a bimetallic United Kingdom £5 Brilliant Uncirculated coin. The reverse of the coin features a royal emblem and crown design, inscribed with SAPPHIRE JUBILEE and the dates 1952-2017, alongside the inscription: MY WHOLE LIFE, WHETHER IT BE LONG OR SHORT, SHALL BE DEVOTED TO YOUR SERVICE. The cover includes a blue £5 Machin definitive stamp, cancelled with a circular postmark from Buckingham Palace, London SW1, dated 6 February 2017. The postmark incorporates a quote from the Queen’s 1952 accession speech. This example is from a limited edition and is numbered 06212.
