Mark Spain (British, b. 1962), An Audience, Limited Edition Etching

A limited edition etching on paper by the British artist Mark Spain (born 1962), titled An Audience. The artwork features a whimsical golf-themed composition with three figures on a putting green, including one golfer in traditional attire preparing to putt. The print is hand-signed Mark Spain in pencil to the lower right margin, titled An Audience to the lower left, and numbered 57/300 to the lower centre. The piece is presented within a linen-textured mount and housed in a black-finished frame with a gilt inner border. The reverse of the frame retains an artist’s biographical information sheet and a gallery label from Skipton, North Yorkshire. Mark Spain is an established printmaker and painter who studied technical graphics and graphics at Medway College of Design before specialising in etchings in the mid-1980s.
