The collection features several promotional items for the Taunton Cider Company, historically based in Norton Fitzwarren, Somerset. Notable pieces include a two-handled cup for Blackthorn Dry, inscribed Matured in Oak Vats at Norton Fitzwarren, and another featuring a polychrome apple-themed crest. Other items include a large three-handled loving cup with a polychrome floral spray featuring a central purple rose and gilt-coloured highlights to the handles, a large two-handled mug with pink trellis and blue floral transfer-printed decoration, and several mugs with black transfer-printed pastoral and landscape scenes. Also present is a small terracotta-coloured mug with black printed initials T and C. The vessels are constructed from glazed earthenware, with decorations applied via transfer-printing and hand-painting. Inscriptions include The Taunton Cider Company and Taunton Cider.
