A collection of six ceramic animal-form money banks including a Bristol & West promotional example
Description
A collection of six glazed ceramic money banks of various animal subjects. The group includes a seated panda with a cub in a black and white glaze, and a large cream-glazed polar bear with black facial details and small green and red holly leaf decals on the soles of its front paws. Also present are a pair of terrier dogs, one in a white glaze and one in a black glaze, and a seated white cat with black patches and hand-painted green eyes. The collection is completed by a pink glazed piggy bank of traditional form, which features a printed blue rectangular logo on its left flank for the Bristol & West Building Society, accompanied by a square emblem containing a stylised profile face. Each bank is designed with a coin slot to the upper surface or back.
