The wall mirror is in the Art Deco style, having a shield-shaped form with a dark-toned frame, a central wooden shelf, and a hanging chain. The needlework samplers are presented in matching narrow gilt frames with cream-coloured mounts; one features the text Bear the Cross patiently, while the other bears the inscription I know that my Redeemer liveth. These items display characteristics consistent with the late 19th to early 20th century.
