Description
A small gold commemorative round from a series celebrating the History of Aviation. The obverse features a depiction of a biplane, likely the Wright Flyer, with the inscriptions HISTORY OF AVIATION and THE MILESTONES IN FLIGHT. This face is marked with the fineness Au 999.9 and a weight of 0.5 g. The reverse side depicts the Concorde supersonic airliner with the inscription CONCORDE. The round is housed in a clear plastic protective capsule with internal support arms.
