An Assortment of Antique and Vintage Glass Bottles and a Stoneware Jar in a Taunton Cider Crate

An assortment of antique and vintage glass bottles and a two-tone salt-glazed stoneware jar, housed within a terracotta-coloured plastic Taunton Cider delivery crate. The collection features several embossed glass bottles including a clear glass mineral water bottle marked Walter & Co, Crewe, Mineral Waters, and a dark green glass bottle marked Nightingale, Walter, Crewe. Also present is a tall dark glass bottle with the partial inscription Chel…, a Codd-neck bottle in aqua glass with an internal marble stopper, and several other glass vessels of various forms in clear and aqua glass. The stoneware jar is finished with a typical salt-glaze, showing a light shoulder and darker brown body. The items are constructed from machine-moulded glass and fired stoneware.
