A Pair of Great Western Railway Brass Wall-Mounted Carriage Candle Lamps

A pair of Great Western Railway (GWR) brass wall-mounted carriage candle lamps. Each lamp is constructed with a cylindrical brass body that terminates in a spherical finial at the base. The upper portion of each lamp features a decorative crown-style gallery which supports a clear cylindrical glass chimney. An applied copper band is located on the central stem of each lamp, embossed with the railway company initials GWR. Both lamps are equipped with brass mounting brackets designed for wall attachment. Remnants of white candles are visible within the interior of the glass chimneys.
