A Collection of African and African-Themed Decorative Objects including Woven Basket and Carved Woodwork

This collection consists of several decorative items reflecting African styles and craftsmanship. The group includes a shallow, coiled woven basket or bowl, featuring a radiating geometric pattern in earth tones of brown, tan, and cream, constructed from natural fibres such as raffia or dried grasses; the design is consistent with Binga baskets from Zimbabwe. Also present is a carved wooden head fashioned from dark-stained hardwood with a polished finish, depicting a stylised human face with elongated features. A small sculpted bust made of stone or a textured composite material shows a matte patina and detailed hair.
