A Collection of Silver-Plated Tablewares and Pewter Vessels

A collection of assorted tablewares including a pair of silver-plated wine coasters featuring gadrooned galleries and turned wooden bases. Also included is a pair of silver-plated individual covered dishes, each consisting of a circular base and a bell-shaped dome cover with a ball finial. The group further comprises various pewter vessels including a large straight-sided tankard with a strap handle, a tulip-shaped mug with a double-scroll handle, and a small handled measure. No hallmarks, maker’s marks, or capacity marks are visible on any of the pieces. The silver-plated items have a high-lustre finish typical of electroplate, while the pewter items display a characteristic matte grey patina.
