To the left of the brand name is the letter B and to the right is the Roman numeral IX, indicating a manufacture date of February 1993. The bottom edge is impressed BRADFORD, PA. MADE IN U.S.A. The lighter contains a removable metal insert with a standard chimney design and a charred wick. The top plate of the insert is impressed with the word ZIPPO.
