A vintage cast iron figure fashioned in the form of a young boy standing on a mound base. The figure is depicted in a rustic style, dressed in a wide-brimmed green hat, a blue long-sleeved shirt with green suspenders, grey trousers, white stockings, and dark shoes, with hands posed behind the back. The item is of solid cast iron construction and has been finished with polychrome paint. The figure is cast in two halves and joined, with a visible vertical seam running along both sides from the base to the hat. The underside of the base is heavily coated in green and black paint; where this paint is worn or chipped, the grey metal is revealed beneath. There are irregular pits and marks from the casting process on the base, but no manufacturer names, marks, or model numbers are legible.
