A three-piece silver-plated tea service in the George I style, comprising a teapot, a two-handled sugar bowl, and a milk jug. The service features a compressed globular form with horizontal ribbing around the body, set upon a raised circular foot. The teapot is fitted with a hinged lid topped by a tiered finial and features a scrolled composite handle, ebonized in finish. The sugar bowl and milk jug are designed with open scrolled handles.

The base of each piece bears several impressed marks. At the top is a symbol of a coronet, positioned above the word CAPITAL. Below this is a rectangular cartouche containing the characters HE & Co Ld. Further down is the number 13910, and at the bottom are two small circular marks containing the letters E and P respectively.
