A two-piece Chinese Export silver tea service comprising a teapot and a twin-handled sugar bowl. Each piece is naturalistically fashioned in the form of a gnarled pine log, featuring a textured bark-effect surface and chased wood grain patterns. The bodies are decorated in high relief with flowering prunus branches and pine needles. The teapot handle, spout, and lid finial are designed as bent rustic branches, with the handle featuring two cream-coloured heat insulators. The sugar bowl is similarly styled with two rustic branch handles. The underside of both the teapot and the sugar bowl base bears a rectangular struck mark with the literal reading KUCHUNG.
