Three equestrian themed decorative plates including a Crown Ormonde limited edition commemorative example

A trio of decorative ceramic items featuring equestrian themes. The collection includes a Crown Ormonde fine bone china commemorative plate for Red Shirt Night at Pontefract Racecourse, produced in aid of the Injured Jockeys Holiday Fund. The decoration features a transfer-printed stylised red shirt and a sketch of jockeys on horseback. The reverse is marked with a crown and ribbon backstamp for Crown Ormonde, Staffordshire, established 1995, and is hand-inscribed as number 46 of a limited edition of 2000. Also included is a circular glazed ceramic plate with a gilded rim, featuring black silhouettes of galloping horses against a graduated red and orange background. The final item is a rectangular earthenware plate with scalloped corners and a wide border heavily embossed with floral and scroll motifs, containing a central transfer-printed and hand-coloured scene of a traditional English fox hunt.
