A vintage Hit-A-Pin Bagatelle game board with balls, manufactured by John Jaques and Son Ltd of London. The board is of arched form, constructed from stained hardwood with a matching frame. The play area features a series of scoring recesses and concentric arrangements of upright metal pins. Numerical point values are printed in white across the board, ranging from 5 to 150. A wooden cue channel is located along the right-hand side of the frame. The base rail is gold-stamped with the text HIT-A-PIN BAGATELLE. The reverse of the board retains an original printed paper label detailing the Rules of the Game and the manufacturer address at Kirby Street, Hatton Garden, London, E.C.1.
