Description

A vintage two-storey wooden dollhouse of British manufacture, designed in a traditional cottage style with Mock-Tudor architectural influences. The structure is primarily constructed from plywood and solid wood, featuring a red-painted pitched roof and a front-facing gable with green-painted faux timber framing. The exterior is finished in off-white with green-painted window frames and trim. The house is mounted on a rectangular white-painted wooden base. The facade includes multiple lattice-work windows, with several opening casements featuring diamond-pane detailing. A large hinged front panel opens to reveal a two-room interior. The rooms are decorated with vintage patterned floral wallpaper, and the floors feature a parquetry-effect design in a herringbone pattern. A small internal door is located on the ground floor. No maker marks are present, though the design is consistent with mid-20th-century manufacturers such as Tri-ang or Gee-Bee.
