A Collection of Five Cut and Etched Glass Decanters including Examples in Silver-Plated Stands

A collection of five clear glass decanters of varying styles and periods. Four examples are of cut crystal construction, featuring bulbous bodies with deep diamond and hobnail cutting to the lower sections and faceted necks. These four decanters are each housed in separate silver-plated stands of pierced and relief-moulded design, showcasing scrolling foliate and floral patterns. The stoppers provided for these items include two with ray-cut flat tops and two of faceted bulbous form. The fifth decanter is of flattened globular form with a slender neck, featuring an etched foliate wreath centrally enclosing the word Whiskey in script.
