A Collection of Decorative Figural Ornaments and Carved Animal Models

A collection of mixed decorative ornaments and animal figurines comprising porcelain, ceramic, hardstone, and wood examples. The assortment includes a Continental style glazed porcelain figurine group depicting a putto or cherub feeding grapes to a goat, set on an oval white base decorated with gilded rococo-style scrolls and encrusted with polychrome flowers and grapes. Also present is a glazed ceramic figurine of a garden bird, possibly a Blue Tit, naturalistically modelled and perched on a tree-stump-style base. Carved items include a green hardstone figure of a horse in a dynamic pose, possibly jadeite or aventurine quartz, and a group of carved wooden animals including two elephants of varying sizes and two further quadrupeds. A small grey carved stone figure of a recumbent animal completes the collection. No maker’s marks, factory stamps, or signatures are visible on any of the items.
