Description

This collection includes a diverse range of domestic items, primarily 19th-century and later metalware. The group is led by a copper warming pan featuring a circular, hinged, and perforated lid decorated with a punched foliate pattern. This item is fitted with a long, turned wooden handle that has been modified with the addition of an aneroid barometer set within an oak horseshoe-shaped frame. The barometer dial is marked for varying weather conditions. Also present is a large circular brass tray, likely of Anglo-Indian or Middle Eastern origin, featuring an etched central medallion and intricate scrolling foliate and geometric borders. The horological component consists of a circular desk clock with a white dial and black Roman numerals. A selection of small brass collectibles includes a cat figurine, a miniature boot, two table bells—one with a figural finial representing a woman in period dress—and two small metal vessels, one of which contains a blue glass liner. Completing the lot are two long, elegantly tapered wooden weaving shuttles constructed from contrasting dark and light woods, characteristic of traditional hand-weaving tools.  Also wooden tray with ceramic tiles
